Biography
Name: Kiiro | Country: Japan | Occupation: Fine Art Photographer
Born in Kanagawa prefecture in 1978, Kiiro resides in Tokyo.Kiiro freely employs his deft command of painting techniques in order to create works that centre on a motif of flowers in their natural state. Cosmos flowers in particular have been the focus of his art for more than 10 years. Each of Kiiro's series provide a new angle on his themes of order, harmony and beauty -- original definitions of the word cosmos itself. The oil painting-esque qualities imbued in his works never cease to fascinate the viewer, mesmerising art collectors both in Japan and abroad. Kiiro has shown at Art Fair Tokyo, Fotofever (Paris), Daegu Photo Biennale, La Gacilly (Bretagne), as well as many others in Japan and internationally. Awards include the International Fine Art Photography Award Judges Award for experimental work（France) and others.
1978年神奈川県出身・東京都、聖蹟桜ヶ丘在住。自然の花をモチーフに絵画の技法を駆使して創作活動を行う。特にコスモスは10年以上続く重要なモチーフだ。宇宙の原義である秩序・調和・美をテーマにするもシリーズ毎に表現を変え、写真でありながら尽きることのない絵画的表現で内外のアートコレクターを魅了した。アートフェア東京、fotofever（パリ）大邱フォトビエンナーレ、La Gacilly（ブルターニュ）など国内外に展開している。受賞歴ではIFAPA審査員賞（仏）他多数。
